01 / The everyday, a little more connected

You don't need a big story
to start something.

Some of the best conversations begin with almost nothing. A song you can't stop playing. A question on your way home. An idea that feels better when you let it out.

Roof is a place for those little sparks. Share a thought in 140 characters, discover a different perspective, or spend a moment with people who see the world a little like you. Or wonderfully differently.

Less composing the perfect post.
More being part of the conversation.

02 / A small window into a bigger world

What's on
your mind?

The Global feed is your open window. A place to put a thought out there and discover what other people are sharing. Familiar feelings. Unfamiliar ideas. A little everyday serendipity.

Small enough to say it.

A little room can hold a lot of personality. Keep the thought. Skip the essay.

Something resonate?

Give a message a heart. Find a voice you love? Make them a favorite.

03 / Your kind of people

A big world.
Your little corner.

Not every thought belongs in the big room. Neighborhoods give shared interests, familiar faces, and everyday rituals a place of their own. Separate from Global. Full of possibility.

01 / The familiar faces

Same people.
New possibilities.

The friends who turn a quiet evening into a plan. The people who always have a recommendation. Give your circle its own corner of Roof.

Make the ordinary
a little less ordinary.

Morning coffee thoughts. A daily creative prompt. Something good that happened today. A neighborhood can start with the smallest thing in common.

03 / The shared spark

Whatever you're into.
There's a conversation.

Books you can't put down. Ideas you can't let go. Join a neighborhood with an invitation code and make space for the things that bring you together.

A neighborhood is about who you connect with, not just where you live.

A little less performance. A little more presence.

You don't have to be
interesting to everyone.
Just be you, somewhere.

04 / Make yourself at home

A little more
on your terms.

Be curious. Be generous. Be yourself. Roof gives you simple ways to shape what you see and how you take part.

Keep the good voices close.

Some people just get it. Favorite the senders you connect with and give their voices a little more room in your feed.

Drop in. Catch a thought.

Refresh when you're curious. Read a little, share a little, then get back to your day. You choose when to take a look.

Your space, your say.

Remove a message from your view, block a sender, or report something that doesn't belong. Simple choices, close to the conversation.

A little extra / Roof Premium

More room to make it yours: create your own neighborhoods, share more often, and let new messages arrive with automatic updates.

Find your Roof

Before you come on in

A few
good questions.

What is Roof?

Roof is a messaging app for short thoughts and shared moments. Discover what people are saying in the Global feed, or join a neighborhood for a more familiar circle. Every message has up to 140 characters. Enough for a spark, a question, or a new perspective.

What makes a neighborhood?

People, and something in common. A neighborhood has its own conversation, separate from the Global feed. Join with an invitation code; with Roof Premium, you can create a neighborhood of your own. It could be your friends, a shared interest, or a daily ritual. It doesn't have to be a place on a map.

Do I have to post to take part?

Not at all. Come for a fresh perspective, leave a heart on a message, or find a voice you'd like to hear more from. When a thought comes along that you want to share, there's room for that too.

What does Premium add?

Premium lets you create neighborhoods, send messages more often, and turn on automatic updates. The core experience is about short messages and finding connection. Premium gives you more ways to make it your own. Availability and purchase details will be shared at launch.

Is Roof available yet?
